Ginger Chai
Ginger tea (adrak ki chai) is a very authentic and famous Indian beverage. Aside from being delicious, it is well-known to aid in digestion.

- ½cups milk
- 2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 teaspoon loose leaf tea
- 1 tablespoons ginger
Method

1. Grate ginger into 2 cups water

2. Bring to vigorous boil while stirring

3. Add loose leaf tea, still stirring

4. Boil for 1-2 minutes

5. Stir milk into boiling chai

6. Optional: stir in sugar (this can be added separately at the end also)

7. Remove from heat and pour through strainer into serving vessel
